SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge Competitors:

Each year in Laughlin, SCORE International has an opportunity to turn challenge into racing excitement.  The upcoming 2006 SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge is no different.  Over the past year, the BLM has sold various sections of federal land in Laughlin.  As a result, the 2006 race course will not cross over the Needles Highway.  The course will be an 8.0 mile loop, which will start and finish at the traditional Laughlin special events site.

With a reduced race course loop, SCORE will be increasing the number of laps.  There will again be two full days of racing, with the event finishing order determined by the combined results from each day.

The SCORE Laughlin Leap will be on Thursday, January 12th and the SCORE Pit Crew Challenge will be on Friday, January 13th.

Course Reconnaissance will take place on Friday, January 13th.  The desert racing action will take place on Saturday, January 14th and Sunday, January 15th.

Absolutely NO PRE-RUNNING ALLOWED prior to the Course Reconnaissance run on Friday, January 13th.

Pit locations will be the same as last year. Pit space will be limited and we would appreciate your assistance in pitting together as much as possible. Please Email your requirements to Ric Miller at ricmiller@score-international.com as soon as possible.

The starting procedure and number of laps will be determined by the total number of entries in each group.

The Rally Logger will not be used for this race only.

We’re excited about this year’s format and we hope you are as well. Keep an eye on the SCORE website for more information - www.score-international.com
